Notice of Election - Stakesby Ward - 12 September 2024

The deadline for candidates submitting nomination papers (attached) is 4pm on 15 August 2024. If you intend to complete a nomination paper, please contact North Yorkshire Council, Electoral Services, on 0300 131 2 131 (ask for the elections office) to book an appointment for an informal check on their nomination paper (it can be formally submitted after the check).

Nomination papers must be delivered BY HAND to The Returning Officer, North Yorkshire Council, Town Hall, St Nicholas Street, Scarborough, YO11 2NG.

The town council is NOT ABLE TO ACCEPT NOMINATION PAPERS.

Notes:

Form 1a - Each person signing a nomination paper as a proposer or seconder must include their polling district and electoral number details. Electors and candidates can obtain this information by emailing elections@northyorks.gov.uk or calling 0300 1312131 (ask for elections office) stating their name and address.
